On June 4, 2026, Wizpresso’s Founder & CEO, Calvin Cheng, took the stage at AI+ Power 2026, Hong Kong’s leading business AI application expo hosted at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. Speaking at the panel “年輕 AI 創辦人:如何將創新轉化為增長” (Young AI Founders: How to Turn Innovation into Growth), Calvin joined fellow innovators to share perspectives on how the next generation of founders are translating AI-driven ideas into real business impact.

The discussion highlighted a fundamental shift in the startup landscape. As AI technologies continue to mature, the barriers to building and launching products have significantly decreased. Founders today can move from concept to deployment faster than ever before. However, this accessibility has also intensified competition, making it increasingly difficult to differentiate on speed or technical capability alone.
Drawing from Wizpresso’s experience in building AI-powered RegTech solutions, Calvin emphasized that successful B2B companies require more than just strong products. Long-term growth depends on a combination of business resilience, effective distribution strategies, deep domain expertise, and trusted relationships with key stakeholders. In highly regulated industries, understanding complex regulatory workflows and embedding that knowledge into product design remains a critical advantage.
In addition to his role at Wizpresso, Calvin also shared insights from his involvement with DALA, highlighting the growing importance of AI literacy across the startup ecosystem. As AI becomes a foundational tool for innovation, founders must not only understand how to leverage it, but also how to apply it responsibly and strategically. Building this literacy is essential to ensuring that AI adoption leads to sustainable and meaningful outcomes.
AI+ Power 2026 brought together thousands of business leaders, technologists, and innovators exploring how AI is reshaping industries across the region. For Wizpresso, it was an opportunity to contribute to the broader conversation on AI governance, compliance, and the future of enterprise applications.

We thank the organizers and participants for an engaging exchange of ideas, and we look forward to continuing to support organizations in navigating the evolving intersection of AI, regulation, and business growth.
